We are happy to announce two positions where you can personally help us in our mission of maritime welfare. If you would like to make a difference for sailors and our Bay Area community, fill out the volunteer application below indicating what positions you’re interested in and send it to info@imcbayarea.net.
Currently we need,
1 – Van Drivers: Our drivers act as ambassadors for the Bay taking sailors to local cultural sites, shops, and restaurants to ensure they feel at home here. Since you will be using IMC vehicles you must be at least 25 years old with a CA drivers license and a clean driving record. The IMC is able to provide vans and coordinate with sailors; we just need volunteers who are passionate and available to help.
2 – Program Project Assistants: We have lots of events in the works both for sailors and for our more local community. As a Program Project assistant you can help plan, promote, and prepare upcoming programs and events. Past events include things like Christmas at Sea and you can check out our upcoming work at SMGG.org.
